Cookies and local storage

What Farvex keeps in your browser, why it is there, and how to change it.

Last updated: 17 September 2026

Your choices

Essential storage keeps the site working the way you set it. Everything else stays off unless you switch it on.

Strictly necessary and functional storage

Four entries in your browser's local storage, used only to deliver the site the way you configured it: farvex_theme_v2 holds your appearance choice (light or dark); farvex_lang holds your language choice (English or Dutch); farvex_cookie_consent records whether you accepted all storage or essential storage only; farvex_cookie_telemetry records your answer to the performance measurement switch below. They stay on your device, hold no name, email address or identifier, and are never used for advertising or profiling.

Always on

Anonymous performance measurement

Aggregate page-loading timings, used to find pages that are slow. No IP address, company domain or personal detail is stored alongside them. Your answer stays on this device under farvex_cookie_telemetry.

Your choice is kept on this device only.

What is stored, entry by entry

These are local storage entries, not cookies. They are not attached to network requests, and nothing on this site sends them to a server.

Name What it stores Category Kept until
farvex_theme_v2 Your appearance choice: light or dark. Functional Until you clear this site's data
farvex_lang Your language choice: English or Dutch. Functional Until you clear this site's data
farvex_cookie_consent Your answer to the cookie notice: all, or essential only. Consent record Until you clear this site's data
farvex_cookie_telemetry Whether you allowed performance measurement: true or false. Consent record Until you clear this site's data

Clearing site data in your browser removes all four. The site then behaves as it does on a first visit.

Legal basis

Article 11.7a of the Dutch Telecommunications Act, which implements the European ePrivacy Directive, allows information to be stored on or read from your device without consent where that is strictly necessary to provide the service you asked for.

The four entries listed above are used only to render the site in the appearance and language you chose and to remember the answer you gave on this page, and they are placed on that basis. Anything beyond them is placed only if you allow it, and you can change your answer here at any time.

Third parties

This site is hosted on Vercel. Pages load Vercel Speed Insights, a script served from this domain, which reports anonymous page-loading timings to our hosting provider so we can find pages that are slow.

Typefaces are loaded from Google Fonts. Your browser requests the font files directly from fonts.googleapis.com and fonts.gstatic.com, so Google receives your IP address as part of that request.

There are no advertising networks, no analytics brokers, no social media pixels and no cross-site tracking anywhere on this site.

Other pages that store data on your device

Some pages keep working data in your browser so you do not lose it between visits. It stays on your device in the same way as the entries above.

  • The pre-deployment checklist saves which items you ticked, under farvex_predeploy_status.
  • The briefing and contact forms keep a local copy of what you submitted, under farvex_inbound_leads_v1.
  • The admin area stores its access credential hash under farvex_custom_auth_hash_v1 and a sign-in log under farvex_security_audit_v1.
  • Admin sign-in state is held in session storage under farvex_auth_session, farvex_fail_count and farvex_lockout_until, and is discarded when you close the tab.

Removing what is stored

Clearing site data for farvex.ai in your browser removes everything described on this page. Every browser offers this under its privacy or site settings, usually as clearing cookies and site data.

After that the site behaves as it does on a first visit: the cookie notice appears again, the language returns to English and the appearance follows your operating system setting.
